Care made for compression

The Juzo Special Detergent is formulated specifically for washing medical compression stockings and elastic garments. Ordinary detergents, fabric softeners and bleaches break down the elastic fibres that give a compression garment its working pressure, shortening its life. Washing regularly with the right detergent does the opposite: it increases durability and extends the useful life of your garments, protecting both the compression and your investment.

Highly concentrated and economical

A little goes a very long way. Just one centimetre of paste in two litres of tepid water is enough to care for your garments, so a single tube lasts a long time. The gentle formula is more than 90% readily biodegradable, phosphate-free, and contains no enzymes, bleaches or optical brighteners, so it cleans thoroughly while being kind to the delicate knit and to skin. It is also suitable for woollen garments.

Two handy sizes

Supplied in a convenient tube for controlled dosing, available in a 30ml travel size and a 250ml home size. Keep the small tube in your bag and the large one at home, so your compression garments are always properly cared for. Made in Germany.

Use it to wash

• Medical compression stockings and tights
• Arm sleeves, gloves and lymphoedema garments
• Post-surgery and scar-therapy garments
• Elastic supports, and woollen garments

How to use it

Dissolve about one centimetre of paste in two litres of tepid water (around 30 to 40°C), add the garment, and wash gently by hand, or use with a machine's delicate cycle as directed on your garment's care label. Rinse and air dry away from direct heat. For best results, wash your compression garments daily or after each wear, and never use fabric softener.

Important

Always follow the care label sewn into your specific garment. Do not use fabric softener, bleach or regular biological detergents on compression garments, as these damage the elastic fibres and reduce compression. For external use on garments only.
