Rubberised grip gloves give you a secure hold on compression fabric, so you can pull a stocking or sleeve up evenly and smooth out wrinkles instead of tugging at the top band. They also protect the knit from fingernails, rings and snags, which matters because a damaged knit no longer compresses as it should. The JUZO Special Glove is a textile glove made from durable nylon with a non-slip latex coating, intended for exactly this purpose.

Turn the stocking inside out down to the heel, put your foot in, then work the fabric up the limb with gloved hands, smoothing the wrinkles as you go — never pull it up by the top band. The glove lets you grip a small section of knit at a time and distribute the fabric evenly rather than dragging the whole garment. For higher compression classes and flat-knit garments, a grip glove and an Arion Easy-Slide aid together make donning much more manageable.

Follow the care instructions supplied with the product, keep the glove clean and dry, and keep it away from heat sources, which shorten the life of the non-slip coating. Replace it once the coating has worn smooth and no longer holds the fabric, since a glove that slips no longer protects the knit. If the glove arrives damaged or faulty, report it within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and photos and a colleague will arrange a replacement at no cost to you.
