Sun protection made for scars
The Revee Sun Care SPF 50+ is a high-protection sun cream developed to shield sensitive, healing skin from the sun. New scars and tattoos are especially vulnerable to UV: sunlight can darken a scar permanently, slow its fading, and cause it to thicken. This SPF 50+ formula gives advanced UVA and UVB protection exactly where it matters, helping your scar heal to the palest, flattest result possible.
Why scars need sun protection
For at least the first 12 to 18 months, scar tissue has little natural defence against the sun and burns and discolours far more easily than surrounding skin. Even short, incidental exposure can leave a scar darker for life. Protecting it with a high-SPF cream every day is one of the simplest and most effective things you can do for a better final appearance, which is why surgeons routinely recommend it as part of scar aftercare.
Gentle, water-resistant, everyday-friendly
The formula is nickel-tested and dermatologically tested, suitable for all skin types including sensitive, oily and combination skin. It is water-resistant, so it keeps protecting through swimming, sweat and outdoor sport like golf, tennis and running, which makes it well suited to the heat and humidity of Dubai and the UAE. Enriched with antioxidants, it also nourishes the skin rather than just coating it. Made in Italy. 75ml.

How to use it
Apply generously to the scar or tattoo and surrounding skin about 15 to 20 minutes before sun exposure, and reapply every two hours, and after swimming, sweating or towelling. Use it daily on healed scars whenever you will be outdoors, throughout the first 12 to 18 months when the scar is most at risk. It can be used on the face and body.
Important
Apply only to closed, healed skin, never to an open wound. No sunscreen blocks 100% of UV, so also keep new scars covered and out of direct midday sun where possible. If you have had recent surgery, check with your surgeon before applying anything to the scar.
- Machine wash at 40°C (max) with a mild detergent
- No fabric softener, bleach, ironing, or dry cleaning
- Air dry flat, away from direct heat and sunlight
- Replace every 3–6 months to maintain optimal compression
- Use donning and doffing aids to put on and remove
