Overview

BBL Compression Garments and Suits for Stage 1 & 2

Protecting your result through recovery

A Brazilian butt lift moves your own fat to the buttocks, and the first weeks decide how much of that fat survives and how smooth the final shape is. A BBL compression garment, or faja, applies firm compression to the abdomen, waist and thighs to control swelling and refine the areas where fat was removed, while an open seat leaves the buttocks free so no pressure is placed on the newly transferred fat. That combination is what supports graft survival and an even contour through the critical healing window.

Healfit offers BBL fajas from Revee Italy in soft, breathable, latex free Lycra shaped specifically for fat transfer recovery, along with a BBL support cushion for sitting. Whether you need firm early stage compression or a smoother stage two garment as you heal, there is an option for your phase. Not sure which is right? Our certified fitters in Dubai help you choose, with home visits available across the Emirates.

Stage 1 and Stage 2, what is the difference?

BBL recovery is worn in phases. A stage 1 faja is worn in the first weeks, giving firm compression with easy fastenings and full coverage from under the bust to the thighs to control heavy early swelling. A stage 2 garment is firmer and more shaping, worn once the initial swelling settles to refine the waist and contour as you return to daily life. Your surgeon guides when to move between stages.

Which garment do I need?

  • Stage 1 faja: full coverage, under bust to mid calf, for firm compression in the early swollen weeks.
  • BBL faja with open seat: compresses the abdomen, waist and thighs while leaving the buttocks free to protect the graft.
  • Fat transfer and lipofilling garment: shaped for BBL and lipofilling, with a back opening over the treated buttocks.
  • BBL support cushion: takes pressure off the buttocks when you need to sit during recovery.

Our products are Rafed registered. Your treating hospital or clinic can request them under your insurance plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I wear a BBL compression garment?
Most surgeons recommend wearing a BBL faja almost continuously for around six to eight weeks, sometimes longer. It is worn day and night in the early weeks, then for fewer hours as swelling settles. Your surgeon sets the exact schedule for your procedure, but consistent early wear supports graft survival and helps the contour settle smoothly.
Why does a BBL garment have an open seat or back opening?
The open seat leaves the newly transferred fat in the buttocks free from pressure, while still compressing the abdomen, waist and thighs where fat was removed. Pressure on the buttocks in the early weeks can affect how much of the grafted fat survives, so the opening is designed to protect your result while controlling swelling everywhere else.
What is the difference between a Stage 1 and Stage 2 BBL faja?
A stage 1 faja (compression garment) is worn in the first weeks, with firm compression and easy fastenings to manage heavy early swelling. A stage 2 garment is firmer and more shaping, worn once swelling settles to refine the waist and contour as you return to normal activity. Your surgeon advises when to move from one to the other.
How am I supposed to sit after a BBL?
For the first weeks after a BBL most surgeons advise avoiding sitting directly on your buttocks, to protect the transferred fat. A BBL support cushion lets you sit with your weight on your thighs instead, keeping pressure off the treated area. Follow your surgeon's guidance on when and how long you can sit normally again.
When does the swelling go down after a BBL?
Swelling is heaviest in the first two to three weeks and reduces gradually over the following weeks, with the contour continuing to refine for a few months. Consistent compression through this period helps manage swelling and supports an even shape. Everyone heals differently, so your surgeon and fitter can advise what is normal for your recovery.
