Overview

Men's Liposuction Vests & Compression Suits

Recovering well after your procedure

After liposuction, the treated areas swell and the loosened tissue needs to be held firmly against the body so it heals in its new shape. Steady, even compression is what does that, reducing swelling and bruising, easing discomfort as you move, and supporting a smoother, flatter result. For men, that usually means the chest, abdomen and flanks, the areas most often treated.

Healfit offers men's liposuction garments from Revee Italy in soft, breathable, latex free fabric that stays comfortable in the UAE climate. The range covers the areas men need most: compression vests for the chest and gynecomastia surgery, abdominal suits and binders for the trunk, and full 360 garments when several areas are treated together. Whether you need gentle first stage support right after surgery or firmer second stage compression to refine the result, there is a garment for that phase.

Which garment do I need?

  • Compression vest: for chest liposuction and gynecomastia surgery, giving firm, even pressure across the chest and upper trunk.
  • Abdominal suit or binder: for abdomen and flank liposuction, supporting the trunk and controlling swelling.
  • 360 garment: for chest and abdomen treated together, giving uniform all round compression in one piece.
  • Foam pads: worn under the garment over treated areas to even out pressure and smooth the contour.

Getting the fit and timing right

The correct garment depends on where you were treated, how far into recovery you are, and the compression level your surgeon recommends. Most surgeons advise wearing a garment almost continuously in the early weeks, then reducing over time as swelling settles, typically across four to eight weeks. Because swelling changes your measurements week to week, a garment fitted to your body rather than guessed from a size chart makes a real difference to comfort and to your result.

Care is simple: gentle wash at 40 degrees, no tumble drying, no ironing, and no bleach, which keeps the fabric's compression intact.

Our products are Rafed registered. Your treating hospital or clinic can request them under your insurance plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long should I wear a compression garment after liposuction?
Most surgeons recommend wearing your garment for around four to eight weeks. In the first two to three weeks it is worn almost continuously, then for several hours a day as swelling settles. Exact timing depends on your procedure and your surgeon's advice, but consistent early wear has the biggest effect on comfort and final shape.
What compression garment is best after chest liposuction or gynecomastia surgery?
A compression vest is the usual choice, as it gives firm, even pressure across the chest and upper trunk to reduce swelling and support the tissue as it heals. Many men add a foam pad under the vest to smooth the contour. A fitting confirms the right size and compression level for your surgery.
Do men wear the same liposuction garments as women?
The compression principle is the same, but the garments differ by shape. Men's recovery focuses on the chest, abdomen and flanks, so vests and abdominal suits are the common choices, rather than the hip and full leg garments used more often by women. Some items, such as abdominal binders, are unisex.
What is the difference between first-stage and second-stage garments?
First stage garments use moderate compression and easy closures for the swollen, tender days right after surgery. Second stage garments apply firmer, more even pressure to refine the result once initial swelling has eased, usually from around week two to six. Many men move to a smaller size for stage two once they are happy with the fit.
