Adjustable compression for the lower leg
The Juzo ACS Light calf wrap is an adjustable compression system for the lower leg, covering the calf from the ankle to below the knee. Designed for the decongestion phase of lymphedema therapy and for ongoing management, it uses short-stretch segments closed with Velcro fasteners, so you can set the exact compression you need and re-adjust it through the day as swelling reduces. It delivers therapeutic compression of up to 40 mmHg, with high working pressure and low resting pressure, the ideal profile for reducing lymphatic swelling in the calf.
Easy to apply, even on your own
Compression on the lower leg can be difficult to put on, particularly when bending is limited. The ACS Light solves this with a sewn-in fixing aid (lining) that holds the wrap in position while you fasten it, so it can be applied in next to no time and on your own, even with limited mobility or strength. The especially wear-resistant material can be worn day and night, and the calf wrap combines with the ACS Light knee, thigh and foot wraps and Juzo SoftCompress products for continuous, whole-leg compression.
Sizes, lengths and colours
The calf wrap is shaped for the left or right leg and available in standard sizes 1 to 5 (XS to XL), in normal and long lengths to match your leg, and in Beige or Black. Because the fit is essential to how the compression works, measurements should be taken by a trained specialist.
Recommended for
- Lymphedema of the lower leg, during and after the decongestion phase
- Chronic swelling of the calf and ankle
- Calf swelling as part of whole-leg lymphedema
- Self-managed compression where the level needs to change through the day
How to wear it
Position the wrap on the lower leg using the sewn-in fixing aid to hold it in place, then close the Velcro fasteners upward from the ankle to the compression level advised by your therapist. Re-adjust during the day as swelling reduces to keep the compression effective. It can be worn day and night as directed. For continuous compression down the leg, it is worn below the ACS Light knee wrap and above the foot wrap. Your therapist will confirm the correct size, length and target compression.
Important
The ACS Light is a medical device delivering compression up to 40 mmHg, so the correct fit and target pressure must be set by a trained specialist. It is frequently used with the matching foot, knee and thigh wraps for continuous compression down the whole leg.
