Oedema and scar therapy in one garment

The Juzo Comprima bolero arm sleeves combine targeted oedema treatment and effective scar therapy in a single post-operative garment, meeting many of the needs of aftercare following cosmetic and plastic surgery. Two arm sleeves are joined by a bolero connection across the back and chest, so they stay securely in place and treat both arms together, held by a 3-row hook fastener above and below the chest.

Shortenable Clean-Cut material

Made from Juzo's innovative Clean-Cut material, the sleeves can be individually cut to length at the lower ends (up to 3 cm) for a precise fit, leaving permanently neat, dimensionally stable edges that will not fray. The fabric is soft, very elastic and comfortable, with a silicone border at the waistband and a velour-padded hook fastener that sits gently against the skin. As soon as the wound can be covered after surgery, the garment can be worn, typically for a recommended 4 to 8 weeks.

Comfortable, breathable, everyday-friendly

Delivering gentle, medically effective compression of 18 to 23 mmHg, the sleeves are light, breathable and wick moisture away for a comfortable skin climate, a real benefit in the UAE heat. A built-in UV protection factor of UPF 80 shields healing skin and scars from the sun, and the discreet, inconspicuous design makes the garment easy to live with day to day. Because it comes in standard sizes, it is available immediately, ideal for prompt post-operative use.

Indicated for

• Post-operative oedema of the arms, for example after arm liposuction
• Scar therapy after plastic and cosmetic surgery of the arms
• Post-traumatic oedema of the arm
• After arm lift (brachioplasty) and skin tightening
• After burns or scalds to the arms

How to wear it

Once the wound can be covered after surgery, the sleeves can be worn, typically for a recommended 4 to 8 weeks or as your surgeon advises. Fasten the bolero connection across the chest and back so the sleeves sit securely, and position the silicone waistband border comfortably. If needed, the lower ends can be trimmed up to 3 cm for length using the Clean-Cut material. Wear as directed by your clinician.

Important

This is a mild-compression (18 to 23 mmHg) post-operative and scar-therapy garment, not a high-compression lymphedema sleeve. For established or higher-stage arm lymphedema, a higher compression class or custom flat-knit garment may be recommended.
