Compression Facial Band for Otoplasty & Face Surgery

This compression facial band by Revee Italy is the garment Revee specifically recommends after otoplasty, the surgery that corrects protruding ears and reshapes the earlobes. Worn around the head and over the ears, it holds the newly positioned ears securely against the head and applies the steady, gentle compression that protects the correction while the tissues heal, particularly during sleep when the ears are most vulnerable to being knocked or folded.

The design is deliberately simple. A hook-and-loop velcro closure makes the compression easy to adjust to exactly the level your surgeon recommends, and the elastic, latex-free fabric stays comfortable against sensitive post-surgical skin through the extended wear these first weeks require. It is also suitable as a lighter compression option after facelift surgery.

How to wear it

Your surgeon will confirm the correct size and set the duration of wear, typically worn continuously in the first week or two and then at night for a further period. Use the velcro closure to keep the band firm enough to hold the ears in position without pinching. Many patients keep a second band so compression is never interrupted while one is being washed.

Important

After otoplasty, night-time wear matters as much as daytime. The band protects the ears from being folded or knocked during sleep, which is when most early corrections are disturbed. Always follow the wear schedule your surgeon gave you, and stop and call them if you notice pain, numbness or skin damage under the band.
